How to Verify that the Correct Driver is in the Kernel

When using the September 2005 release of HP-UX 11i v1, the 10 gigabit Ethernet cards (AB287A) require the ixgbe B.11.11.01 driver from the 10GigEthr-00 bundle. To verify that the driver was loaded in the kernel, execute the following command:

what /stand/vmunix |grep ixgbe

You should see a response like:

ixgbe_ilan Version: 1 	 							Jul 04 2005
ixgbe Revision: B.11.11.01 Jul 04 2005
