The following is a list of what’s new in the HP-UX AAA Server A.06.01.02.04:

  • A.06.01.02.04 is built with the OpenSSL Version 0.9.7b+p1 library, resolving a defect (JAGae93798) related to various ASN.1 tag handling problems.

Changes to the HP-UX AAA Server Product as of Version A.06.01.02

The information in this section is a reminder of the content in the previous HP-UX AAA Server release—version A.06.01.02. Review the HP-UX AAA Server A.06.01.02 Release Notes at http://www.docs.hp.com for more information on version A.06.01.02.

The following is a list of the new features in the HP-UX AAA Server A.06.01.02:

  • Support for EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS, PEAP, EAP-MSCHAP, and EAP-GTC

  • DHCP Interface for IP Address Management

  • 8021.x Advisor help system in Server Manager interface to facilitate WLAN configuration

  • “Self-signed” AAA server digital certificates created during installation for deploying a secured EAP-TTLS and PEAP environment without having to generate your own digital certificates.

NOTE: The sesstab and radrecord command line utilities are no longer supported from the command line, however, the functionality is still available through the Server Manager interface.

The following is a list of defects fixed in the A.06.01.02:

  • When an accounting request for a user without a realm arrives, an inaccurate logfile message (“user realm not configured”) is logged. (JAGae81059)

  • AAA server performs highest level of debug logging when it receives a non-RADIUS (vendor-specific) packet type. (JAGae79140)

  • Server Manager deletes Tokenpool names in /etc/opt/aaa/authfile when modifying realm entries. (JAGae51823)

  • Server Manager cannot modify manually added BIN/CIS options for realm entries in /etc/opt/aaa/authfile. (JAGae51825)
