In addition to tasks you can perform from the Capacity Advisor
GUI (such as running reports), Capacity Advisor provides several commands,
as listed in Table 1–1. For additional information, see the
corresponding manpages.
Table 2-1 Commands and Manpages and Their Functions

| capcollect(1m) | Collects utilization data from identified systems that you
use to examine workload scenarios and do capacity planning. |
| capovpaextract(1m) | Exports OVPA system data from the specified managed system
and imports the data into Capacity Advisor. capovpaextract allows
importing data from non-VSE systems if the OVPA version is supported.

| capprofile(1m) | Imports, exports, displays, invalidates or removes utilization
data for a specific workload. |
| capprofile(4) | Defines the format of Capacity Advisor import and export files. |
| capreport (1M) | Creates a
Capacity Advisor Report from the command line. |
| capreport (4) | Defines the
format of a command file to use with the capreport command. |
