After installation, configure HP SIM and the VSE Management Software for use in your environment by following these steps:
Configure user authorizations for access to the VSE Management Software tools. See “Configuring User Authorizations”.
Activate permanent licenses before the end of the free trial period. See “Activating Licenses”.
Start the Application Discovery server if necessary. This applies to installation on a Windows CMS when installed by Insight Control Management. See “Start the Application Discovery Server on Windows CMS”.
Complete the certificate exchange to enable SSL connections for use by Application Discovery. See “Complete the Certificate Exchange for Application Discovery”
Configure HP ProLiant Essentials Virtual Machine Management Pack for use with HP SIM. See “Configure HP ProLiant Essentials Virtual Machine Management Pack”
