The software that is required for the X.25/ACC Subsystem is shown below.

For the ACC and X.25/9000 Software Bundle product, all of the following software is provided.

For the ACC X.25/9000 Link Software, some of the software is provided by the ACC Base Software product and some is provided by the X.25/9000 software product.

Software Module

Description

Provided with:

ACC Mux Subsystem Drivers

These manage the ACC mux card. They are independent of the protocol being used.

ACC Base Software

ACC Mux Subsystem Utilities

These provide utilities that facilitate the configuration and monitoring of the ACC Mux Subsystem. Examples of these utilities includes ttgen which is used to configure the ACC Mux Subsystem, and zmntr which can be used to observe the configuration and state of the mux ports.

ACC Base Software

X.25 Protocol Module and zx25d Driver

The X.25 Protocol module is the X.25 specific firmware file that is loaded into the ACC Mux card when the ACC Mux Subsystem is brought up. The zx25d Driver is used to facilitate the call processing that is required for X.25.

NLI2ZCOM Driver

The NLI2ZCOM driver interfaces the ACC Mux Subsystem drivers to the X.25/9000 subsystem.

X.25/9000 software (J2793B)

This provides the industry standard X.25 programmatic interfaces and services: It provides the BSD IPC programmatic interface, utilities such as x25init, x25stop; it supports services such as rlogin and ftp. This is identical for both the X.25/9000 and X.25/ACC products.
