There are two levels of configuration that are required in order to use the X.25/ACC product. The ZCOM Mux Subsystem must be configured, as well as each individual ACC mux port or E1/T1 sub-channel that will be used. For the 4-channel Z7300A or Z7330A card, port configuration includes sub-channel definition.

Additional tuning and sizing of the system may be done to reflect the system requirements. The parameters that are used for this tuning and sizing are described in Appendix D “Tuning and Sizing” You should review the current settings of these parameters to verify if they are correct for the implementation of the X.25 network being connected to, and for your configuration requirements.
